Chef Keisha cooks with true passion and undeniable soul. Her love for cooking manifested as a child, growing up in a Caribbean/ Indian house hold where bold flavors and delicious food was always flowing. She best describes the way she feels about cooking as a language of love- the way she is able to connect with others and express complete and utter joy.
Chef Keisha attended six years of culinary school, including a stint at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. After receiving her degrees, she went on to hone her craft as a line cook and sous chef at various establishments in New York and South Florida.
Chef Keisha loves cooking with international flavors such as Asian, Italian and the delightful Indian spices she was raised on. Her infectious personality and undeniable skill for making mouth-watering dishes make her a welcome addition to the Lovely Roots Gourmet family!
